Leafline Labs Update #2 (Coronavirus)March 27, 2020
We are all living through unprecedented times, and the environment around us is changing daily, if not hourly. Though the situation is highly dynamic, we recognize that LeafLine Labs is an important part of your care team and we take this responsibility seriously. We want you to be aware of actions we are taking to keep you and our staff healthy while continuing to deliver the highest quality medical cannabis and patient care.
What We Are Doing:
Our call center is screening all patients who call to schedule appointments and all walk-in patients are being screened in the vestibule via intercom by front desk staff. We are also limiting the number of visitors allowed with each patient, where possible, and have placed signage on the entrances of every care center.
We are limiting vendors’ access to our care centers, while partnering with our most critical vendors to limit exposure and ensure greater safety.
We are asking all nonessential staff to work remotely and adhering to social distancing practices for employees who need to work at the care centers.
We are handling patient consultations via video conference and using personal protective equipment for patient interactions and product transactions.
We have removed all items from the care center common areas that may spread infection, including display items, toys, candy, coffee and removed paperwork from the consult rooms.
We are limiting the number of refill pick-ups per hour and extending scheduled consult times to reduce the number of people in our care centers at one time.
And of course, we have increased the frequency and scope of cleaning and sanitizing our work areas within the care centers.
What We Are Asking of You:
We appreciate your cooperation in responding to call center screening questions and adhering to our new protocols for appointments and consults.
With these added protocols through our call center, we appreciate your patience with longer than usual wait times.
Please Note: If you are feeling ill, have a fever, cough, shortness of breath or are uncomfortable with limited social contact, please call or email us as soon as possible to discuss your care and your appointments. If we are unable to see you in clinic, there is still benefit in discussing your care with us via email or phone.
Please refrain from bringing multiple family members into the clinic. Limiting social contact is one of the best ways to keep our patients and staff safe.
Please keep lines of communication open with us regarding your health, your care, and your scheduling needs.
We apologize for any inconvenience these changes in our process may cause and appreciate your understanding. At this time, we remain open to care for you and your family members and will continue to share updates via email and social media. Thank you for being a loyal patient of Leafline Labs. We feel privileged to provide you with care. Sincerely, Bill Parker
