Meet James, a Pharmacy Technician at our Saint Paul patient care center.

30-second elevator speech: I was born and raised in Colorado and moved to Minnesota in December of 2017. I have spent a majority of my career working within the specialty drug market helping patients with some of the most severe disease states. So special populations and medicines are definitely not new to me and I love being able to help Minnesota residents with their medicinial cannabis needs. What does a typical day of work look like for you? I work with John Wasko in Saint Paul filling and getting orders completed and to our patients. What is your favorite part about your job? Learning more and more about the industry and the potential use of the medicine. What are you passionate about? Cannabis, balance and sustainability. Favorite way(s) to spend your free time: I enjoy playing video games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, FIFA 19 and Mario Party. While it's not always the most fun I also enjoy spending time remodeling the house my wife and I purchased last year. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? As it stands my ten year plan looks pretty similar to where I am now - I'd like to be in Minnesota but maybe in a bigger or better designed house. Favorite Minnesota sports team(s): Minnesota United FC. I cheer for a team outside of Minnesota for the other big 4 sports. Share a fun fact about yourself: My go-to is that my eyes change colors, but another fun fact would be that I have never watched Forest Gumpp. You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick? Bye Bye Bye by N'Sync because why not? If you were famous, what would you be known for? Probably for promoting a different way of thinking or conducting one's self. What is your least favorite vegetable? I don't necessarily enjoy radishes. What did you name your first car? It was named "Pony" - The car was a 1989 Ford Escort Hatchback, so it was like a Mustang, but wayyy slower.
