At LeafLine Labs, we know that exceptional patient care starts with an extraordinary team. That’s why we pride ourselves on our people. Get to know us, why dontcha?
Meet Robin, our Director of Compliance and Training.
Tell us about yourself: I grew up in Prior Lake, MN, was a competitive swimmer, and brought home just about every animal I could find. I went to college at Winona State and got my B.S. in Cell/Molecular Biology. After college I started working as a Pharmacy Technician in home infusion pharmacies, making sterile IV's and coordinating patient care. I am married to my husband, Ryan, and have two beautiful little girls, Shaye is 5 and Remy is 2 years old. I don't swim so much anymore but I still have the urge to bring home every animal I find.
What does a typical day of work look like for you? The compliance side of my job has me communicating with OMC about any number of different things. Also looking at our SOP's, working with department heads to tweak what we need to to better fit our ever changing operations. The training side of my job has me spending time with each of our new hires to introduce them to this world we all live in and teach them about LeafLine Labs and medical cannabis.
What is your favorite part about your job? Getting to meet and teach all of our new people about the amazing work do here. I also like to follow rules so compliance makes me feel good.
What are you passionate about? My kids, animal welfare, enjoying life and not taking it too seriously.
Favorite way(s) to spend your free time: I'm a mother of 2 young children. . . I have no free time. BUT I do love spending my time with my family.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I would love to be even more involved with the company and the Cannabis industry as a whole. I have learned so much since starting here and I feel like there is so much more that can be learned. The reality is that I will have two teenage daughters at that time so I'm hoping to just be surviving life and keeping them alive!
Favorite Minnesota sports team(s): Minnesota Wild
Who or what is your spirit animal? A turtle, (and not just because I resemble one) but because slow and steady wins the race.
